The famed Netflix’s series, Bridgerton has become one of the top binge-worthy* shows of 2020-21. I too can attest to this as I finished the entire series one Saturday night with a drink 🍷 and my favorite snacks 🍫 in tow. Although it took me a little while to get bitten by the Bridgerton-bug, I found myself curious enough to start the journey despite my issues with a few directional choices. From the multicultural cast, storyline, costume design, and witty discourse, I can see why this series caused such a stir. As we assumed our tv-watching positions 🙇🏾‍♀️, we were graced by complex and strong female leads 👭, the difficulties of societal pressures, and a coming of age story. We learned the importance of a well-written letter, the act of the promenade, and NEVER wearing the same dress 👗 twice.
