Hunter X Hunter's Kurapika Makes A Comeback With Tiffany & Co.’s HardWear Ball Dangle Ring
Anime but make it fashion
I recently received the Tiffany & Co. HardWear Ball Dangle Ring as a birthday gift and instantly fell in love. My mom and sister did well with this one! When I first opened the exquisitely wrapped Tiffany blue box, I was stunned. My first thought — Kurapika. My second thought — I have been watching way too much anime. As of late, I have been binging the anime series, Hunter X Hunter (2011) on Netflix. So naturally, this ring sparked this post. Welcome to my headspace…
If you are not familiar with this anime, Kurapika is a hunter and last survivor of the Kurta Clan. He dons a chain bracelet with five finger rings known as his judgement chains. But don’t let this unique jewelry piece fool you, it functions as a powerful weapon responsible for bringing many foes to their knees. Check out Netflix for more information on this series.
My ring size: 6
Material: Sterling Silver
What I Love
The harshness of the studded plate detail juxtapose to the roundness of the ball
Makes me sing, “I came in like a wrecking ball” by Miley Cyrus
It’s lightweight without feeling cheap
Functions as a great conversation starter
It’s untypical/unusual
Its the perfect fidget “play thing”
It doesn’t scream “Tiffany & Co.”
Great layering piece
*Unfortunately, I have been informed this ring has been discontinued by Tiffany & Co. but I will suggest calling stores to inquire about any stragglers in their stock.
